I was reading a few other threads in the beta2 section and I swear some of the things Egomancer has said remind me SO much of Baghdad Bob (Iraq's Minister of Communication) that was trying to tell the world Iraq was repelling the US while US troops were walking past behind him...

If you're referring that the moderators are Nazi-mods, do so. I don't see why this guy is wromg... he just said people have a right to complain about preorder billing, but not whine about stuff like free play time, what's nazi about that. Call me a fanboi, or whatever, but I don't think this guy is stupid.
Moderator says that there is nothing wrong with LYING regarding FAKE DISCOUNT & breaking a agreement? ...There is nothing wrong with that? Ok.
Are you really a moderator from Mourning forums? Becuase there is NO EXCUSE for fake adverts & breaking agrements (Im betting thats the fault of admakers & not anyone involved with Mourning, correct?).
Being a fan of the game doesnt mean that your brain goes missing, alot of true fans are pissed about the so called "bussines actions" from Mourning.
Right now im waiting for people to post a picture of a generic looking cd-r with the Mourning beta client, the box being just "plain looking" & the manual missing.
Why? Becuase ANY GAME COMPANY makes sure that its fans do not worry about fake info, right now Egomancer is avoiding to answer any questions. There is no info about box art, info on what company is shipping it, NOTHING. Just "Boxes have been shipped"....(Why is Ego the only one taking shit always, let rest of the dev team get "there fishes warm" also).
(Actually a 2 day old account claiming to be working for the shipping company poped up yesterday, a freaking mod confirmed that he works for the company, where are the devs? Do note the name of the company, then do a google search on the name. Then click on the link from C-Net to see the company be related to email spam (along with that "ISP-company from florida").
What is there to be a fan of? All this "can be a fantastic game" is screamed EVERY time a game is in beta, I will not be surprised if this Mourning debacle ends in a history worthy of Horizons. Please do avoid "can be great game" its old & does not mean the game will be "all that"

What crap I cant belive they are getting away with this. To all the loser lore boys at mourning that tell people to suck it up its only 30$ and its not the devs fault, well the nice thing about the taxes I pay they help the government fund this little agency called the F.B.I. I did file a complaint with the internet fraud division and i'll let them figure if there is any legal action to be taken.

The response on the Mourning forums is underwhelming to say the least.
Those that have received the disc/box are saying its just the same beta client on a home made CD in a white unprinted DVD case.
This is truly a new low for the industry. I sincerely hope something is done about this by someone. Im not sure what or by who but its just wrong from start to finish. It gives the whole industry a bad name and it confirms that some people think players are just a flock of harvestable dimwits and clearly some are.

Its amazing that ordinary burners (ordinary = anyone can buy & use it) are used instead of pressing them.
Could it be becuase thats the cheapest possible production & no waiting time? (pressing cd:s at a factory takes time). Its obvious that it was rushed so they could take the pre-order money.
Cd:s for the beta client? WTH that isnt a "released client". Thats sending out beta cd:s & claiming that your pre-order has been sent out.
Realese/Gone Gold = Sending out a master cd to an factory for pressing.

This is just too funny..........I cant believe they used CD-RW Drive I have had home for mass production.
Well the level of posting at the forums seems to be down around the 20ish posts per 24hours now maybe less (general forums). When you look at those posts they are being done by maybe a dozen people.
If you assume (dangerous) that there are say 2 x that many posts/posters in the beta areas for example. Then assume that only maybe less than half of the people playing are posting (high average in my experience) then um.........
You looking at about less than 100 people currently either playing/posting or generally involved. ]
If you said Im out by say 20x then thats only 2K peeps.
Not enough to run a game sorry.... This puppy is on death row already.....

For those who remember I made a few posts here and there, without flaming I must say. There were multiple cases where the devs/mods/publisher/etc actions where questionable. Many of us tried to warn the people who had pre-ordered and hopefully several got out in time. I was the one that branded them as unprofessional initially, and aparently people read it cuz they started using the word some time after in another thread.
So my word to all of you is just watch out, and when people bring forth a good case dont just dismiss it, although it may not be a scam, for me it can be even worse...incompetence. Never trust such a thing.
Note: Please do not call me a flamer for saying theyre Incompetent. Its a very proper word and you can look it up in the dictionary.
In one post someone made references to the beta server populations, they mentioned between 2 and 10 people I beleive on it. Thats taking into consideration they can't keep a server up however.

I tell you what, this will ruin it for small gaming companies in the future that are trying to get their start into MMO's. This game has set a horrible precendence in so many ways. People will be warry for a long time to come now and the Mourning staff certainly hasn't helped restore the good name of Romanian business practices.
This is really going to hurt and impact the MMO market for some time.

No, I'm not a mod at the Mourning forums, and yes, I've been following this game for a while. I haven't said that the preorder stuff isn't wrong. It's wrong, and I won't try to defend it, but this Jesse guy hasn't said anything about the preorder stuff, he just seems to referring to stuff where people whine about having free play time etc.
Anyways, I'm with you guys when it comes to billing the boxes, that's just wrong imho...

Then why do you choose to be part of a massive fraud? They send a half-assed cd with a old beta client, and the servers crash every few hours. And your CC got charaged early for that. You are guility by association.

Click on my links that I have provided in previous posts & read the what the mods are posting. If you still dont get it you really need to hone your reading & comprehension skills.
Also this whole business is a scam since it was the current beta build being sent out to take the pre-order money. A pre-order can only be sent if its the finished product being shipped not the current beta.
Well there is another thread I would LOVE to post here but it leads to links that would make a Marine blush. In essence it highlights the farcical level things have reached over at the aptly named Mourning.
Those of you that have been following this long enough to remember all the BS from people like Julie Blue, AKA sorrow, AKA -insert name here- would really get a charge out of it. Go do some careful reading of the current threads in general and youll see what Im talking about.
Im not surprised they have removed the links to the forum posting rules, because they have gone from not allowing the word bum to fully open verbal combat with an adults only rating.
Suffice to say as we have all seen, the forums for this game are the most entertaining thing about it
