Surprised to see there's that many people who play haha.

The competition is to post your favorite pet or something so people are responding with that to try and win the raffle thing.

Hopefully this gives the crowd here some insight into the Pirate 101 thing from several months ago. The visitors to the forums here are a subset of the MMORPG.com visitors, with very little overlap with the main site visitors. Very different groups of people.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein
