No there were not, doubt if there will be any for DF2 but would be pretty epic if they will get physical copies in stores in the future.
AV is an independant studio so getting published just isn't in their budget. Besides digital downloads are preferred these days anyway and with a steam release it should be accessible for nearly everyone

A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

Well, i'm from Greece and i've seen some copies of the old DF in few stores...
