Not one completed. I did not watch them all, just skipped to the end!
Now seen the vids don't need to play the game, and they all seem like the same.

They are super though from what I've heard. Got to try to really determine if they are similar or not. Obviously the scene is different in each of them, shooting and chasing... I guess similar
Edit. Nice touch is that they are voice over with your character voice, makes it exciting at least for me

Actually people on PTS enjoy them. Yes they are challenging, also they unlocked weekly missions:
beating Baros Ambush unlocked weekly for Hypori Escort
As it's now, weeklies (are supposed to) unlock on following days:
Monday: Regnant Station Assault
Tuesday: Ardis Outpost Fortification
Wednesday: Nev Cov Asteroid Field
Thursday: Baros Ambush
Friday: Hypori Escort
Saturday: Thanium Distruption
Sunday: Operation Clean Sweep
Edit: Nothing wrong with making them difficult. People complain enough that the game is too easy.

i believe part of it is that the player doesnt have the grade 7 ship parts from what he said on the darth hater site. and those look like they are going to be expensive to get

looks like i better start doing them again so i have the comms to get the schematics
I think some players on PTS finished most of them without need for grade 7 parts. Sure it's not easy

After about 1,5hrs of struggling I managed to do 4 space missions with the old purple crafted upgrades (Armek, Kuat, Sinear, Quellegh etc.)

Assuming that there is new space project at work, which was confirmed by devs some time ago, there would be no reason for BioWare to commit resources and create brand new space mission environments if they are going to change it/ add it.
Actually it's resonable to think, that this might be a case.

Tbh. I dont get it why they actually waste time with these. The space missions are quickly very boring and repetitive, and heck, in mid game even the normal space missions get way too hard and you needed to pump tons of cash into ship-gear.
Is there really a substantial part of players who actually like this over more REAL content? Very, very odd.
People don't ask questions to get answers - they ask questions to show how smart they are. - Dogbert
Especially for this game.
I don't get the hype with single player space missions. They are all repetitive.
IF .. and I mean IF EA put code in to randomize the encounters, then that might hold more interest.
As it is, all the space combat rails missions are predictable .. you know when the enemy boss comes out because of the timer in your combat UI .. you know every squadron attack also, because they are like clockwork.
Bleech!
The encounters are not about skil, but more about knowing when stuff happens, and pointing the mouse where it needs to be, in order to minimize damage. Very repetitive. The missions rely on memory rather than cognition. A very factor (when coupled with other factors) that makes SWTOR a very dry game.

Recognize the voice? Yep sounds like Penny Arcade's Extra Credits.
Space missions are gear based.
The appear to be challenging without the rewards.
Rolling does help but there are parts in every mission where you are bound to eat laser by then better pray to have high enough gear.
Same goes for the new ones. They want you to swtich energy modes too, so you.....WHAT THE... the guy who took the video *facepalm*.
Most dont like it but do them for rewards, they put BH comms this time around so i bet lot of people will be doing them.
Thats one of the things wrong with whole gear treadmill - quality of content doesnt matter as long as theres shiney at the end, and developers get lazy and pull stuff like "heroic space missions" that are same as other missions with just HP/DMG buff.
But i must admit less and less people take that crap and are sobering fast.
Good for the genre and bad for - BAD MMOs and lazy developers
Assuming there really is a new space project in the works, I'd reason that an intelligent management decision would be to not allocate budget towards the existing ("lame duck") space model. Either put those budget dollars towards the new space initiative or allocate them into other areas of the game.
I agree with other posters; the space on rails game became boring. It quickly turned into something that was less about twitch skill and more about ship equipment.
I guess they felt the pressure to have starships in a game called Star Wars, but in hindsight, I'd certainly would have forgiven them for not including what they did in exchange for just about any other system.
