DayZ: Interior Work In Progress Screens

Bohemia Interactive has posted a new (and short) developer blog on the DayZ site. Packed away within the blog are several awesome screenshots showing off interiors the team has been working on lately. They are clearly labeled "works in progress" but look pretty dang good already!

The village I used to take the screenshot in now has all its buildings enterable, including the sheds. Most focus has so far been on the buildings that are situated outside of the center, but focus now is turning to doing interiors for the city buildings. This is complicated by our desire to dramatically increase performance, and given the scene complexity inside cities we need to balance this with the desire to increase building scavenging opportunities inside the cities.

is this for the Dayz mod of Arma 2? or for the stand alone game they are working on?

Looks like its set in 50's or 60's.

I was hoping they would go closer to present day in the worlds overall design and especially the buildings.

started playing WarZ last night= its stellar!, unfortunately its filled with tons of CoD fanbois and as an alpha all these players do is snipe yah on the spawning area-unfortunately not sure how much beta testing there will be with these shmuck antics- the forums are flaming with A. reduce death penalty to 15min for Alpha- B. Take out PVP for the testing process.

So far  WarZ has been too busy puting up servers so hope they act quick- or this could kill the game withing weeks.

That's great and all, but War Z has absolutely nothing to do with Day Z other than zombies, survival, and guns.
