I haven't did any pve since the patch, plus I never have over 70 silver anyways, but it looks like people are pretty upset on the official forums. I hear you can only do some many DEs now and there are "drop diminsihing returns" now? Here are a couple links.

It's over exaggerating. I made 2g running around in WvW last night, I had 20g by the time I hit 80, I spent ~10g crafting an entire exotic armor set + exotic weapon. I did nothing other than play the game, craft, and sell things on the AH, no farming of any kind and I have never had an issue with money.
The farming nerf to dungeons is fine, basically what it does is stop people from entering, killing two really easy bosses then leaving, resetting and doing it again until the day is done.
If you somehow have no money to even repair armor, you did something horribly horribly wrong.

all the nerfs they made were necessary for the good of the game economy. Being able to get 25 silver + drops every 20 minutes by farming 1 instance is NOT OK. I dont want to be pigeonholed into running CoF every night just because its is 10x more lucrative than everything else out there. As much as I like getting richer than everybody else I actually want to enjoy my game experience and have a variety of gameplay options that are equally as lucrative.

Selling things on auction house is not as easy as it sounds :P. I do OK on auction house but i spend a ridiculous amount of time checking/comparing prices and finding niche markets. also nowadays it costs at least 2.5g per exotic item(depending what stats it has) if you craft it yourself (more if you just buy), and you have 6 pieces and weapon can be more than that. In the end you have to spend about maybe 18g for set+weapon(not including jewelry which is ~2.5gx5) if you can craft the stuff yourself. Then you have added expenses like trait stuff, buying more inventory space/bags, etc. I'm not complaining at all but things cost more than you make it out to be.

trolling? Lol please. Its a fact that of players can farm all the gold they need in game, it devalues the cash shop. Since gw2 is b2p, this directly impacts anets bottom line. You better get used to them nerfin stuff like this constantly.
we are already farming all the gold we need in game. just not doing it by cheesing the game mechanics. Its OK to make money by running dungeons. its not ok to make money by finding an unbalanced section of one particular dungeon and making that the pinnacle of your endgame experience.

what does gw2 have to do with cash shops controlling game economy? Because that doesnt happen in gw2.

So let me give you a basic rundown of my mostly casual experience with Gold in GW2.
Two characters I have that I am playing the most are 31 (mesmer) and 25 (ranger)
With gold I have purchased any gear I have needed if something became outdated (very cheap)
Bought enough Gems with gold to purchase the Digital Deluxe Upgrade, 1 additional character slot, and a suit of cosmetic armor.
Currently I have roughly 13 gold on me. 95% of my income has come from trading on the AH. I do not play the AH game I have in the past, the tools in game make it simple to sell things. Now to be honest I have done 0 crafting, I grab every resource node I see as I run past, and kill every mob in my way to get to where I am going, and sell every last thing I do not need.
I have a friend who has his main at 80 and has quite a formidable gold reserve from mostly crafted stuff. The only people I know who are having money problems have not been using the AH, and have been stock piling every piece of crafting material they get along with breaking down every weapon/armor they find.
Why is that not ok? Because we arent playing the game the way they want us to? Lots of people play mmorpgs to become rich and control the market. It used to be a cornerstone of this genre. Player driven economies, literally. Now devs are starting to take over that aspect too. They make your personal story, all your quests, they decide where when and the duration of your pvp, of course its only logical they dictate market value and money flow.

Why is it not ok for ONE instance out of 32 (thirty two) to reap the same rewards at 1/3rd the time?
If you don't see the problem with that, than something is wrong.
The "Youtube Pro": Someone who watches video's on said subject, and obviously has a full understanding of what is being said about such subject.

Every game does this. Its exploiting. Its the same as when they had broken shops and people were making mad gold off them. This is no different. There has yet to be one game, cash shop or no, that won't auto jump on these things when they see them. D3, TOR, WoW, all of them I have seen do this in some way. Don't understand how this is a problem.
Because, similar to d3, this is a developer driven economy. So changes like these directly affect the developers earnings. It just puts up a huge red flag for me when an mmorpg is set up this way.
So you'd rather the developers just release the game and not touch any aspect of the game or to allow people to just exploit the economy and the system? I don't get your logic.
So are they going to take all these riches away from the people who were "exploiting" this particular dungeon?

Sadly probly not, but its not the same as the broken shops either. Be like taking away any gold you made in D3 from vases after the nerf. Be far too hard to track down everyone who exploited dungeons for that reason.
How is it not the same? Exploiting for gain is exploiting no matter how its done. Surely checking the logs for multiple fast repititions (IE Speed runs) of the same dungeon shouldn't be that hard.
