Hey everyone, just a quick question. Now that Aion has become pretty much completely free to play, i'm stuck between choosing and MMO. Their is Forsaken World, a very polished and highly revied MMO with lovely graphics. I'm about level 14 in it. Then their is Aion, another highly reviewed MMO with more lovely graphics. Would people that have played either of these games, or both, tell me what you think and how they compare? I really just want an MMO to settle down into and spend some quality time with. Thanks!

I just think Aion is the better game. More to it, great art design and even though I think Forsaken World had some nice things it felt a bit more junky to me.

I tried Aion and felt like I was a gerbil on the wheel after about 5 minutes in the game. I'd suggest DDO or Age of Conan if you're intent on FTP MMO's.
Forsaken World is fine until you are stuck running dailies to level up. I would say Aion.
I've played both, Aion is quite more fleshed out also the truly f2p aspect means you will never have to pay for anything essential to the game, however with some much to absorb it's not so easy to just jump into if you're not a patient person.
As far as Forsaken world is concerned it's not a bad game, and is simpler overall to just pick up and jump into. Also doesn't quite stack up visually as Aion.
If you looking for long term gameplay I would say Aion offers more with upgradable classes, and more involved crafting, now has housing, and IMO a better game overall.
I'd say Aion, for various reasons, One of the top reasons though is the fact that any game hosted by perfect world is 100% pay2win, and you'll have to spend a ton of rl cash later on to even pve properly, where as in Aion you never need to spend a cent and you can do fine, there also aren't really any pay2win items in Aion that can unbalance the game too much. Aion is also most likely a better game. Bascally it comes down to this: if you don't wanna spend hundreds a month go with Aion, if you got that kind of money to burn go with anything by perfect world. Both games are decent with Aion being a tad better due to the fact it was a pay 2 play title and it shows compared to forsaken world.
Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:
A. Proven right (if something bad happens)
or
B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)
Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!
Aion for sure as mostly everyone here said. I was pleasently surprised with Forsaken World, until i hit about level 20. The game than became your typical grind fest with nothing to do but dailies. Aion (to me personally) seems much more complete and professionally done
