    To be honest, no MMO really has endgame before the launch. Endgame usually starts rolling in 3-6 months down the road with patches. A new dungeon, a new raid.

    However, that being said; If I believed the hype of a game before the launch, then everygame would be the next big game. All I know is, the bigger the hype, the bigger the dissapointment when it doesn't live up to what people have built up in their minds.

     Did you even read the posts of microtransactions that arenanet posted? look at the guild wars 2 website and read it. There is your answer.

    Here is what I read:

    "Built from the ground up with microtransactions in mind"

    "Cash->Gems->Gold->Influence->RvRvRBoosts"

    "Mystic Chests = Crass In-Game Advertisement for Cash Shop"

    "We are charging $60 for a F2P style cash shop game"

     

    Not sure what you are reading, but the above statements are very clear to me.  I'm not touching this cash shop focused game with a 100 foot pole.

    Why so angry?

    "Loading screens" are not "instances".
    Your personal efforts to troll any game will not, in fact, impact the success or failure of said game.

    I'm annoyed because Anet trashed a promising game with a crass cash shop.  Sign of the times I guess, but doesn't mean I have to like it...

    Of course you have the right to post whatever you want in these forums, yet I'm curious, what percentage of your posts would you say repeat the same basic thing across multiple forum threads? And out of curiosity, do you think your complains are having an impact on either the development of GW2 or the potential customers? It just seems a bit obsessive and I'm not sure what possible agenda you could have. We know you don't like the cash shop, we know that you feel it has ruined a potentially good game, we know you're not going to play it. Anything else?
