Im with you man! I didnt get super into GW2 until a few weeks ago when I really started following it.
Now ive been up for 48 hours studying for exams and writing papers and then the pre-purchase goes live and i have like a second wind all of a sudden. Unfortuately now all my study time is spent messaging my friends on what kind of characters were going to make and guilds, etc.
It reminds me of when I got really excited for SWG back before it had released, but I think im actually more excited for GW2 cause ive always been a fantasy guy over science fiction.

but yes I'm very excited can't wait until beta hits. I'm in the right section to be hyper and excited about GW2. I can see if I was in lets say another games forums being all happy and excited but I'm here!!

Unlikely. They've stated that they want there to be plenty of content we haven't seen before the game even launches.

there is no way in hell i can stay up till beta, its LUDICROUS!
WTF the signup and play now button on first page of this thread goes to a site charging $89.99 for the Digital deluxe when the GW2 site is only charging $79.99.
We have some crooked distributers out there I guess.

Probably not, the last beta was the weekend before the last weekend of the month. So I think it's probably the 21st.

the first post pre purchase beta event was Friday April 13th
if I'm not mistaken that was a stress test not a beta event...
Try checking your e-mail on Thursday. Nothing then, then the beta isn't this weekend.
