Tell me this isn't better than a movie?Actually Epic games newest technology that will be introduced onto the Xbox 360 is better than movie studios.

crank it up pick720p,crank the volume, full screen  enjoy, this is what we want in our games ,even if for a cutscene.

Unreal3 latest game Batman Arkham Ciy.

Sexy Catwoman

New Korean mmorpg Bless also using Unreal3 engine.

Epic Boss Tim Sweney talking future tech. Boss Sweeney  they have already lived up to the next wave which is their new Ios apps such as Epic Citadel.

Tech video Perhaps the most important thing to note ,is the new addition to the UDK editor that allows a simple click to export your to an Ios application such as an iphone.

Drawback,of course ,this is all basically DX11  64 bit work, that means developers would have to alienate all the win XP DX9c users. However since there is was Xobox only games and PS3 only games, what's the difference?Pretty much every single pc you buy now,no matter how cheap it is will have DX11.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

That technology is not coming to the xbox360, they were running that tech demo on 3 GTX 580s. It was just a demo of what they want in the next gen not something they are actually able to run on current gen consoles.

Yeah.  Any current console does not have even close horsepower to handle this kind of graphics. Especially not XboX 360. Even PS3 is far away from handling something like that.

Not to mention that XboX 360 does NOT use Dx11. It does not even use Dx10.  It has custom Dx which is tweaked version of Dx9.

As for WinXP. Even though it is still popular, people have to realize that it is just obsolete. No new gaming technology will be made to support WinXP anymore.

Same with 32 bits. For long years all even lowest budget CPU's are all 64bit capable, I just hope Windows 8 will be 64 bit only (with ability to run some 32 bit legacy programs but no separate 32 bit only version)

Agreed, a OS gets really dated after a number of years and people considered "gamers" needs to update once in a while. Even 7 isn't exactly newly released today.

32 bits will soon dissapear by itself, it's unability to handle more than 4 Gig of memory (ram + GFX memory) makes it old technology that any new medium range computer today just is too good for means it will soon be gone altogether.
