Look how evenly it's spread from the +19 group to the +42 group.  Divides almost like a pie.  %20 across the board.  Of course, the largest age group is the +42 and it's still about equal with the ~5 year block groups, so the old folks homes don't have to install high end gaming systems and quality internet connections just yet, but soon enough, they will have to, or face riots involving the hurling of pudding cups.  Long before I'm old enough to enter one, gaming rigs will be standard in every room.  My future is assured.  I feel secure and happy for the first time in many years.  If anyone wants to hurry along the retirement homes, let me know, I'm a deadly shot with a pudding cup.

I'm 35. My wife is also 35 and often still gets carded for alcohol. I don't. It sucks.

And just to rub it in, (she, a petite Indian. me, a white guy), will joke about us being an arranged marriage with the server and speak in an Indian accent. She's from freakin Connecticut.

So glad I wasn't drinking soda when I read that.  Good laugh.  Does she manage to look horribly sad and oppressed while she's conning the server?  Added points for her if so.  image

I'm 34 or so says my girlfriend, I never remember my own age.

The poll should have more options.

No. haha more like 'ooo isn't he cute! My parents picked such a nice husband for me. And not too old.'

hope no one suggests that tho, she would totally do that.

39 next January here.  Gamer since Pong and proud of it.  Guess it just goes to show you're only as old as you feel, I still ride my bicycle 200+ miles a week, 52 weeks a year and can work all the 20 something pups at my mining industry lab into the ground, lol.

Grats on that.  I'd need an ambulance beyond 15 miles a week.

So would I, except make that 1.5 miles.  If I'm only as old as I feel, I'm ninety.

    Good story about your wife.

Hey, move to Tennessee, I was just there and got carded for the first time since I was 35. (which was long, long ago)

Apparently they have a law that everyone must be carded regardless.

I proudly showed my ID as it's likely the last time I'll have to until I sign up for Social Security.  image

I REALLY hated the stupid keyboard they first had for it - although thinking about it now, I probably should have one, since there's more beer spilled in my keyboard than in most college kids fridges!

Thanks.  I did a cross country tour from Alaska to Florida back in '07/'08 and was averaging 75 miles a day so when I got home it seemed silly to get my car out of storage since my home town isn't 15 miles from end to end.

I can see you haven't been around here too terribly long.  I wouldn't call our forum "mature" exactly, just old.  We're a pretty "young at heart" bunch, and that's my nice way of saying that we can certainly be juvenile sometimes.
