EQ2 pvp gear question

Does EQ2 have pvp weapons that are obtainable by doing battlegrounds / world pvp? I heard there are armor sets you can get, but didn't see any weapons.

Yes, there are weapons available from the PvP merchant. The don't seem as good as the Raid drops though.

 

For every game of PvP you earn tokens, for which you later buy various equipment (including weapons) in the PvP lobby. Most of the equipment has PvP only procs, which are effects that are triggered x times a minute and only when engaged in PvP combat.
