Looking forward to Star Wars: The Old Republic? Planning on heading out to the San Diego Comic-Con later this month? Great! You'll be glad to hear that BioWare is offering gamers the chance to play through the game's first two Flashpoints, the Esseles and the Black Talon.

The current plan is to hold two play sessions each night from July 21-23 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), with each session running one hour (7-8PM, 8-9PM).

Spots are limited though, so if you're interested head on over to the official Star Wars: The Old Republic forums to find out how to RSVP for the event!

should be able to since they have allowed that with all their other public play throughs.  might not be able to take video but they don't stop people from posting what they experienced and saw

edit:  just to be clear, bioware will also have the game available to play outside of this RSVP event.

DavidBass General Discussion -> Special Comic-Con Playtime Opportunity!

    Hey folks,

In addition to our playable demos at the Comic-Con show floor and at BioWare Base at the Hilton Gaslamp, we're also excited to give some of you the opportunity for an extended play session on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night at the Hilton. We've got a limited number of sessions each night to allow for selected fans to play through the first hour of either the Esseles or Black Talon flashpoints. In order to do this in the most fair manner, we're going to do a random selection from those who RSVP to this event.

it will likely be origin worlds or tatooine that are available outside of flashpoints event again.  but who knows, maybe they will have something else like alderaan or something.

Ya know, I don't usually comment on things like this , but it would be nice for bioware to have these playtests here in Canada. Considering most of their studios are here.

Caribou and moose can't type very well. :)

Besides, it's being developed at BioWare Austin (Texas) anyways.

Actually, SWTOR is being developed by Bioware AUSTIN (that is in the U.S.).

Let's party like it is 1863!
