Out of all the things that are a "must" for any game, this is probably one that is low on the "need" list. How about a good game first and foremost. Or, is everyone's preference to just go more and more sophomoric.
I'm suprised...really suprised. Do people really pay that much attention to their character to the point where "boob giggle" is actually important? Forgot about Content, Exploration, Adventure or whatever features typical MMORPGs have....Boobs physics? Really?
Don't know about you guys but I don't stand in front of my screen clicking to make my female character move just to see boobs giggle. Seems kind of pointless. I'm all up for realism, and if you want to add boob physics, go ahead, but I never actually thought players paid that much attention to it. Where is the gaming industry heading? /facepalm

well, you are welcome to your opinion.
I don't think for most people it's about seeing a computer version of "the man show".
It's just about bodies moving realistically.
you might not notice this but other are a bit more attuned to how a body moves.
So again, it's like hair movign or the way a face, especially the eyes, can seem "off" when not made correctly.
You are making the assumption that content, exploration and adventure aren't important to people who notice that an avatar is running incorrectly or walking incorrectly (LOTRO I'm looking at you) or just the basic parts are not behaving correctly.
But that is an assumption.
And for those who are looking for female avatars that can bounce on a trampoline in a realistic fashion, well, heck...
to each his or her own. I'm no prude.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

I like realism like hair moving and all and I don't mind breast physics by itself, what really strike me in this thread is the sexual nature that seems to be involved behind the idea, far beyond the idea of simply wanting more "realism". At this point, might as well go for the real thing rather than pixels.... but that's just me I guess.
Its the natural progression of video games to become more and more realistic.
"Soft body technology" is on the way. It isn't "boob physics".
As time goes on and the industry further advances toward true life like simulations, then its just how it'll be.
for now though? It seems to be pretty much an Asian game thing to make female's bounce. Beyond GW1...I can't think of a North American MMO that has the animations.

The question was "Do you want boob physics in your MMORPG?" So I answered "yes."
If the question was "Do I want boob physics to be the primary focus of development in my MMORPG?" I would have answered "no."

Oh come on now, to try and paint this subject as anything more than typical male sexual immaturity is reaching and reaching far. If we're talking realism why aren't we also asking for some male jiggle as well? Most likely because noone really wants to see that in a game, just like most really could live without seeing some Boob jiggle. What does it add to the experience?

If I get cock physics you can get boob physics. Fair is fair.
(Hello Mods, this is satire. Kthxbye.)
You can get the man-boob physics :P

Boob giggles, thats a first xD
Ahhh I love how people go all serious at discussing boob physics, pretty sure OP started this as a joke, but oh well. Mods probably found this too cute to shut down
How much WoW could a WoWhater hate, if a WoWhater could hate WoW? As much WoW as a WoWhater would, if a WoWhater could hate WoW.
Seriously? No and I don't care at the same time. Why? Because I play games for the gameplay, not the titty shots. If I want that, I can go and search for such things on redtube (FOR FREE). Keep the immature tripe out of my games, and we'll be fine.
If Blizzard were paying attention then we'd know the next content update would be panty raids.
Not just panty raids but, for all of the homphobic teenage boys running around with all of that teenage angst, blood elf panty raids with capes and wizard hats. Lol
Gasp! Oh no! I'm talking to everyone who thinks I'm "personally attacking" them.

Well, first of all I don't think any type of exultation in sexuality to be immaturity. People are wired to be sexual beings. We have erotica, porn, online dating sites, sexually charged ads and the list goes on and on. One could try to take the high road and adopt a noble air that we are all somehow "better" than all this but sexuality is a personal thing and I won't be the person who points the finger and says that what one thing finds as fun another finds immature.
Of course, I'm also a big believer in not forcing someone's idea of secuality down another's throat. However in a perfect world we would all be in our own little bubble and never encroach on what another finds distasteful.
Of course this is not a perfect world.
I don't deny that there are a lot of immature people out there who can't quite figure out how to act in social situations and online games are social situations. But to imply that people liking to look at people is immature just doesnt' fit.
and before someone replies with the "they are pixelated people" I would remind them that erotica in varying degrees has been around looooong before the dauguerreotypes/tintypes. (photos)
As far as adding "male jiggle" to be honest I've never really noticed anything significant for "male jiggle" unless it was guys wearing very loose pants and probably "going commando". One might notice there is something down there but there really isn't a huge bit of motion except in my above example.
But "sure" if it is appropriate to the clothing then I personally don't care.
That Guild Wars link where that Charr is running behind that woman kind of shows my point. Whether one finds it titulating or not or whether one wants to find it titulating or not doesn't mitigate the fact that she looks natural while running. Whereas looking at other video game characters, especially when the developers have tried to give their women ample endowments looks fake to me. but so does long hair that doesn't move. That's one of the reasons I love the asian games as they pay attention to those types of details.
Should these "moving breasts" be swaying in every odd angle? Naw, unless the game is trying to foster sexuality I would say it doesn't need it. Should they at least have some sort of movement where appropriate? I would say yes. Same goes for men I suppose.
If it does cost a whole lot of extra development time then of course not. Unless of course it fits the vision of the developers.
Will people try to abuse it? yeah I suppose so. For some reason we haven't developed enough to realize that the mmo space is actually a social space. It's the anonymity I suppose. And of course, where you have sexual human beings you will have some human beings engaging in sexual behavior.
Whether they do this in the privacy of some part fo the game world or out in the open is up to them. I personally don't believe in the whole "cyber" thing but I'm not opposed to it if people want to do this. That's up to them.
so adding a bit more movement to various parts of the human body is fine with me provided it's done well.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
I like boobies and that's why I voted YES! You don't need much time to implement such feature, so don't come here and tell stories about wasting time/money on something nobody wants. To be honest, every straight man or curious woman wants boob physics, not because they are pervs or need a gf or have to go out or whatever you hypocrits write here, they want it because they follow their instincts, like every other living creature. That is also why you will ALWAYS see sex in most areas of your life - movies, games, shows, commercials and so on and on and on. One of the easiest things you can sell is food and sex - self preservation and reproduction. So, if you like em, just write it down and be happy about it. There is really no need to be oh so intelligent and indifferent to your desires, or whats even worse flame others. So to come to an end here: boob physics is a nice little feature.
They always say sex sells thats why so many games specially the korean games have sexy chicks on the boxes or adds with nice boobs.
But nude will not realy be implemented as long countrys like US go crazy over some nipple they see. Maybe Holland(100% will not be any problem) and some scandinavian countrys maybe?, aloud nude in games but rest of the world is not ready yet for nakedness ingame hehe
Look at all the nude mods for elder scrolls and dragon age origin, there si a def market for this.
Most of the female character in games are already oversexed, so the answer to this was an easy no. I don't really understand why men act like this is such a great thing? If I want to lust after someone, it's called dating. Games are for relax-time fun.

Sounds like you're confusing a pleasing to look at video game, with real life.
Would you like to play a game where all the characters look like giant turds?
Why not? If you want to see nice looking people you can go on a date right?

Lets put it this way: I'm planning on making a Mech game... and I want boob physics in it.
I will call them Thermal Inertia Tactical Shields.
"The problem with quotes from the Internet is that it's almost impossible to validate their authenticity." - Abraham Lincoln
Would think at most they would be Frontal Facing Lactal Emitters at best.
I think you may have missed my point(s).... Thermal. Inertia. Tactical. Shields.
"The problem with quotes from the Internet is that it's almost impossible to validate their authenticity." - Abraham Lincoln
If you were to put boob physics in a mech game, doesn't that mean they dont move at all under all that armor?
I find it quite disturbing and pathetic that over 56% (at this time) NEEDS this.
Don't forget most of the rest don't mind, it's ok with them either way.
Less than 10% really don't want it.
They always say sex sells thats why so many games specially the korean games have sexy chicks on the boxes or adds with nice boobs.

Simple Answer: Hell no!, I'd be happy if they did away with boobs in video games all together, Im here to play video games not look at chicks.
