"The PC-exclusive Collector's Edition--listed by retailers at $99.99--packs a 56-page "Art of DCUO" book, Issue #0 of the "DC Universe Online: Legends" comic and the statue of "the Dark Knight leaping from a building, ready to rain justice down on evildoers."

I have to admit, I'm more than a little underwhelmed by this. Anyone else think that this is a little skimpy for a $100 box?

Well you also get to play batman in iconic PvP.... but its the standard price for collector edition in these times (unfortunatly)

also reading all that it sounds pretty nice if you have the money considering the game itself is $50

I personally see it as quite a deal.  If you look on DCDirect, statues comparable to what comes in the CE run from $50-$60 on the low end.  The art book is worth $20-$30 as well.  And on top of all that, they give you two special turret pets that won't be available to anyone else.  So you're looking at approx $70 just for the statue and book...that makes the game $30 bucks...cheaper than the regular edition.  Good value for me.

Then again, if you don't care about DC statues and art books, it may not look so great.  The value on this one is certainly in the eye of the beholder.

I guess if I really thought the statue was all that (with or without chips), I might feel differently. My Ripclaw statue is much cooler and my Diablo figure is a prized possession. I guess value is in the eye of the beholder.
