My friend sent me an E-mail a while ago regarding the Aika Global CBT on August 20, 2010. We've been waiting for this version to come out from the time our IP was banned by AIKA Gpotato due to restriction issue. I'll do some research if this is true and I'll also update you guys immediately.

It really is official guys, CBT is on August 20, 2010 (2 days from now). I''ve been waiting for this game to come out since my Account was banned from AIKA NA due to IP restrictions. I'm looking forward to their Epic 1000 vs 1000 PvP!

I don't care a bit if adults run around nekkid in an MMO (I'd prefer it were rated M, however). But the pran starts as a little nekkid fairy, then becomes a child, then apparantly has the potential to grow up into a sultry adult. Raise em like you want em is not an acceptable pet class concept!

In fact, if a game were to go further with it and have chained up sex-slaves that you S&M into any way you want - it would make *millions*. You just couldn't sell it in stores, but mind you, there are tons of pervs out there that would be into that. Especially if marketed in the east, because there are just too many people that would get butthurt over it here in the west. I see the money though, and that's what matters. Actually, I was talking about a developer/publisher. I mean, if you're penning the concept, you'd still have to pitch it to the guys with the cuff links and dough, right?
Who'd you think would go for that? I heard about one mature MMO being made (or is it, was being made?) that offered...well, you know...

Make this into any kind of witchhunt you like, but the fact is that I laugh at the idea of censoring because some people get butthurt and blow things out of proportion. While on the other hand, people like you will say whatever it takes to justify any reason to tear down a game that came from Asia. I just find the whole thing funny, because it's exactly what I expect from my fellow Americans, and I expected the body-swaps to happen the moment I noticed it being too racy for your average yank.

First of all, you like Aion - a game where most of the male players create lolita characters - and that doesn't offend you?
As for your questions; 26, and of course I do.
My problem is that as a future horror/drama writer, offensive material is my bread and butter. If I can't write about teenage suicide pacts, rape and ultraviolence, then I don't want any part of the medium. I see a lot of beef over this kind of stuff in games, but nobody complained when the kids in kickass were portrayed in the most gruesome scenes, well, ever. Nor did they when Christina Ricci was a 16 year old transient being abused by Benecio Del Toro in Fear and Loathing, let alone Black Snake Moan - which was far worse. People are far too picky about what they think should be censored, when I am of the camp that it's all ok, or nothing is.
I don't advocate RL kiddy porn in any shape or form, but this is just digital entertainment with zero sex involved (just "sexyness"), and hits nowhere near the benchmark as "truly offensive" in my eyes. I've seen worse things in fanart sites, or newgrounds. Hell, MTV and Disney are vendors of teenage sex symbols and nobody jumps on them about it, besides maybe south park.
~and I *would* like a history lesson on both the terms "limey" and "yank". Never understood either meaning.

The prans are featureless, like a barbie doll, and by all means the nips on the cleric avatars should be far more offensive to you... and you wouldn't have even known about that until I told you. Well, everybody has got their own opinions. Anyway, aside from the sexuality stuff, I think Aika Global is quite decent, but I'm sure there are better games out there but I'll give it a shot in their OBT. Anyone, able to play in the CBT?
