Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning: Stability Test and Dev Chat

SBFordSBFord Former Associate EditorMember LegendaryPosts: 33,129

Warhammer Online players will want to check into the public test server tonight at 8 p.m. EST for a stability test. Devs want to get as many players as possible online and have a couple of incentives to get them there: 1) Two devs will be held captive in the opposing camp's keep. Players are to rescue the dev and escort him back to his keep before the other team. And 2) There will be a Ventrilo dev chat beginning at 4 p.m. EST.

How about... instead of 'testing the ptr stability', you actually FIX the EURO servers stability? Having the server die on you in every single 'mass rvr' in T4 is not fun. Was not fun the 1st time, isnt fun in the ... 100th? time.

Ah, right, i stopped paying, i guess i'm not entitled to an opinion.

But... why did i stopped paying in the first place...? Oh... right.

"Two WAR Developers are being held by the forces of Order and Destruction in opposite keeps in one RvR Lake...it's your mission to rescue the Developer and escort them safely back to your Keep before your enemy can do the same!"

That's nice, can't they implement something like that with mob? Like a Public RvR Quest.

Actually there isn't any server crashes on the American servers, this is just a test to see how much stress the server could take.  We had over 250 players, and around 150 mobs battling it out and there wasn't a hitch.  Get you facts straight dude.

How about this for some facts, for the EU servers:

European servers were crap when GOA was in charge, they are sill crap now that Mythic took over. One cant possibly have 200 people battling in a place and keep on playing, not possible, the server stops working.

It stops working to the extreme of people simply stop doing damadge.

Hell, you better hope no one stuns you in any sort, or you will be kept in stun for 1-2 minutes...

Yes, this are the European servers. Yes, i stopped playing because of this.

I played USA servers a bit, in trial, sure never got to T4, but the lack of lag and huge server de-syncs is already very noticeble in T1...

Quite amazing since i'm playing from europe, one would think i would have quite some latency to brake my game... No, i have even less latency then from the euro servers :(
