SEOUL, Korea (AVING) -- <Visual News> Enjoying continued popularity while seeking to represent large-scale war (1,000 vs. 1,000), 'AIKA Online' (http://aika.hanbiton.com; AIKA) sets its sights on the global market starting with Taiwan.

Hanbit Soft (CEO: Kim Gi-yeong) announced that it has signed a local service contract in Taiwan for AIKA with the local Taiwanese branch of T3 Entertainment, "Redbana" (http://www.redbana.tw; CEO: Yun Bong-jin). AIKA's service in Taiwan is scheduled to be launched in the first half of this year.

"We have taken our first step in targeting the global market of AIKA with Taiwan. AIKA's large-scale war presents an exceptional experience unlike any other. Because of this, we strongly believe it will be successful not only in Taiwan but also in other countries as well," said Hanbit Soft CEO Kim Gi-yeong. He notes how many countries including China and Europe are showing interest in AIKA even now and looks forward to good results in the near future.

"We have high expectations for AIKA since there are many MMORPG games out there with war as its main theme and are already successful in Taiwan. We are confident that AIKA will succeed in the Taiwanese market since it features a huge war unlike any other games launched to date, a solid system, and a client optimized for the local environment," said Redbana CEO Yun Bong-jin.

AIKA, which was in open service in the country for over a month, has been performing updates every week following its open service and concentrating on game balance and optimization.

imagethe change isnt just hitting 1 of the 5 now running Aika games , the now  running Aika game were sold short term contracts . in which Korea is the first to be eaten up there will be no dodgeing the mass IP bans when T3 has global ready it will take over all the areas not covered by the short term 6 month contracts and these contracts will not be renewed .

so we again have a 2010 dash for cash F2p mmorpg . isnt it nice to see the mold wasnt broken after all?

at least now we know why NA Aika was started so early so under staffed , and with out any offical person with any care over the clean running of the game .

if your still playing in hopes of a account transfer than give it up . Global will want you to buy there cash shop items not come into the game preset with all the cash shop needs out of the way . theres no profit for anyone but the player in a account transfer . and F2P mmorpg are there just for the profit .

it was a great game idea and a nice world but there it stopped the game play was gimped in CBT they swore it would be fixed in OB and never was . the partys over of course being a F2P many will keep on for a few more week some up intill the 30th with the great hope of breathing new life into the game . i dont see it happening
