Website seems a little lacking on info... if you pay a monlthly fee do you have access to all the areas, or do you have to pay crowns still? And if you pay crowns for an area... does it lock that area for ever or for a certain time limit only?
If you pay crowns, all of your characters on that account have access to that area forever. If you subscribe, you get access to everything immediately, but lose access if you cancel your subscription. The only reason to do both is to subscribe to get access to everything, and then to buy crowns in order to buy crown gear, which is by far the best gear in the game.
Unlike the usual "free to play"/item mall games, however, buying crown gear will make you a good deal stronger in lower level areas, but help you less in higher level areas. Crown gear is outrageously expensive to buy with gold if you haven't left Wizard City, but much more affordable later in the game, because you get gold a lot faster. Note that if you're going to buy crown gear with gold, the price varies wildly by color.

So what's better to access the areas with ? Crowns ? Or Subscription?

Depends on how often you play. If you play a few hours a week use crowns but if you play a few hours a day get a subscription.
It's a pitty, I won't be paying -- doesn't do paypal.
It's a shame.
