Some of you might have already noticed that we have added a new feature to our site - the "Top 20 MMORPG Downloads." You will see this feature on our main game list underneath the poll. These downloads are continuously updated based on popularity. This great service is provided by GameDaily.com!
In the future we plan on expanding this into a more comprehensive area...so stay tuned!

....And so how can you tell which items are downloaded the most? Are they hosted here on this site? I have never seen a place to download movies, trailers, game files, or the like here on this site. Does it scan every site that has the file to see how many times it has been downloaded over the entire web? Or is it just one particular site it draws that information from like fileplanet or gamedaily? Does whichever company pays the most money get good numbers tacked on to their "downloaded" files? Whatever the answer though, it begs the question of how reliable and practical such a ranking system is?
I applaude the effort and expansion of this site - but how does it work and how can it ever be accurate?
No, we don't host the files here...I could only dream of having that kind of bandwidth...LOL.
They are fully hosted by GameDaily.com - we just feed the links onto our game list page. In the future we will have a dedicated page that shows more downloads and more stats about the downloads...for now the little blurb on the game list will serve as a "trial run".
When you download files you will be helping to support MMORPG.com as we have an arrangement to share the advertising revenues on their site while you download files...
