It's going to be here by winter.

Am I the only one who thinks the last half of this segment looks like Vanu steamrolling into a courtyard?

LOL L2's new advertisement is wonderful.....
Take a step back in time and relive the original Lineage II experience as it was in the beginning. Create a classic hero from the original 5 races and 31 class options and jump into the nostalgic hardcore level grind where the rewards can outweigh the risks. It's your chance to experience the game the way it was when "hardcore" meant something!

    -Full loot PvP.

    -ONE world, ZERO instances.

    -Guild v Guild city sieging.

    -No factions limiting PvP, PK

anyone anywhere and take all their items.

-FPS style combat player twitch skill not items!

-No levels a new player can kill a veteran.

-Being developed by gamers who got sick of

    playing other peoples retarded mmo's.

And it all adds up to an unplayable worthless game.

That poor veteran must really suck if he gets easily beaten by a newbie in a completely player skill based game.. rofl

Here is something that does, however:

    Yes it does!

We've been the Welkin4591 playing open beta for the past month and really like it.  While it is early  yet, it's looking good.

We've built http://welkin4591.com where english-speakers can get the game files, translations and use our tutorial to create an account.  We're on Teamspeak and playing now.

It's well worth the effort -- come by and give it a try.

I think Global Agenda will be the better of the two games, but neither are a replacement for the awesomeness of the greatest game ever on the interweb - PLANETSIDE!

The reason most of us truly loved planetside was the vastness of the continents or "planets" that you fight on, and the open possibilities for choke points, taking down a base, defence, ect. All taking place on an open playfield so once one objective was done the masses would go attack the next base, or fight rigerously to defend it.

Global agenda will be the EXACT opposite of the prime reason planetside was so fun. It will use a guildwars like instancing for battle zones, think of every single battle you play out like a glorified map server and the lobby just happens to be a town. The "World" will not be open... I can only think in that case, "Why would I play this over something like a actual multiplayer action game without monthly premiums..

No doubt I wont disagree, the gameplay for global agenda looks fun as hell. But the depth just wont exist like what planetside had. I can only see the level of possibility in welkin for it's openness. I don't know, they both have something going, but in true planet-side spirat, I half to say welkin carries it a little more.

Bring back the old planetside playstyle and i'll agree with you but now its mostly made up of zerglings imo. Welkin seems to be having the old planetside op feel going for it where your thinking more tactics then ok everyone run down the hall shooting and hope you don't hit each other in the back of the head and grief lock. What will global agenda have dunno anyone know how to get invited im all ears.

I know this reply is a few months late, but Battleground Europe (World War 2 Online).  If you can get past the learning curve, it's a lot like PlanetSide.
