It is completely free to play with no restrictions.  First establish a forum account, then go here:

    http://darkandlight.com/en/download/

The DnLDownloader.exe doesn't seem to work for a lot of people;  a bit further down there are options to use Bit Torrent or FTP installation programs.  Most use Bit Torrent.

Make sure your current video and sound drivers are updated and that you have MXLML 4.0 on your computer.

Make sure your forum account is activated, as it is the username and password you will need for the game once it is downloaded.

    It is a long download.

    Then cross your fingers.

If you have problems, post on the English forums in the Gates to Ganareth Forum (which will be the only one open to you), here:

    http://www.darkandlight.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=466

    Good luck.

No, keep it going.   It is well over a gig to download, and can take hours.  If you want to try DnL, then the very *first* requirement is an abundance of patience.

You have just begun to climb that mountain.  Hopefully you will be fortunate and not run into any gliches, but don't be suprised if you do.

    ok

does this game have duel mode pvp where we request duel from people and they click accept and duel start and no one can interfere? and does it have open-pvp where we can pvp at any field and at anytime?

The game has an open PvP system on a Realm vs Realm model.  There are 5 active kigdoms:  The Light Kingdom, the Dark Kingdom, a 'Neutral Kingdom, and two open PvP kingdoms.

Fighting can occur in the PvP kingdoms anywhere with no level restrictions, (though the common convention is not to attack those 20 levels or more beneath you unless they initiate the combat).

However Ganareth is unbelievably large, and the chances of 'bumping into' someone are rather unlikely.  In addition, the player base is quite small.  Therefore PvP mostly revolves around attacks upon player fortresses, and their defense.

You might read a bit on the DnL boards to familiarize yourself with the game specifics.

DnL is not highly thought of on these forums, and you are not likely to get the specific types of answers to your questions you a want.

In my opinion this game doesn't worth the time downloading / trying to run it. But, give it a try, why not?
