Leaving, but Might Come Back!

Well guys... First I don't want any of you to think I'm gonna bash the game.  Because I LOVE IT.  I really do, I don't think there is a game out there that can compare style wise with this game.

But I'm a chatty gal, and checked all the servers and have logged on at different times of the day, and just hardly anyone ever talks.  And I think Hardly is a little forgiving.  I see so many people but no one is willing to respond in the general chats.  It might be because they are from another country... Maybe they just didn't see it, or maybe they just don't care.  I don't know.  But playing online I don't want to just play.

And I know some of you said there is more grouping at level 70, but that seems kind of forced from what I understand.  Anywhot, I want to give the game a break, because I don't want to get burned out on it, just soloing through the game.  So I'm gonna leave, and I'll probably come back in a couple of months to see how it is.  Hopefully more people will be involved in the game and I'll see a lot of dialogue in the chat.

Good Luck to everyone out there.  And I really do encourage more people to join.  It's truly a fun game.

That chat system in Sword is the weakest point of the game. An idividual who is not in a clan will see little in the way of chat. One can only speak to the imidiate area they are in and to broadcast a message you have to buy a microphone. (keeps farmers from advertising and the inane chatter down.) remember the asian players who made this game and played it first are probably sitting next to each other in a gaming cafe. I would suggest you join a good group of people to play with. Even being in a good squad opens up lots of conversation. lastly, many people are using ventrillo so they dont pay attention to chat anyway. Sorry you were ignored...Ive actually met alot of great people in Sword. If your on Cesario you can always drop the Bloodless family a pm.

Have to say I've noticed the same thing. People I have spoken to about the game say they play it as a variation of diablo, which might explain it to some degree,.

However I am currently playing Lotro as well and it seems just as bad on the socialising front. I'm hoping to god that this isn't a new trend in mmo players, as it would effectively render the said mmo part dead,

yes chat doesnt have a area wide or server wide chat.

However after playing WoW and reading barrens chat... this is a BLESSING!

Use the forums, talk to people you see. Are there afkers? yes, are we all afk... no.

Post 40 fewer and fewer afk.
