City of Heroes: The Gaffer Beta Report #4

   Jeremy "Gaffer" recently posted his fourth beta report for City of Heroes. This report talks about the past, present, and future of City of Heroes development in brevity. Perhaps the most intriguing part of his report though, is information regarding the first major update to be released in City of Heroes after the first month, here are some of the highlights of that first update (the time of the update is unknown):

•  The level cap will be raised from 40 to 50.
• New Areas are being added to the game.
• Three new villain groups are being added: The Malta Group, Carnival of Shadows, and Praetorians!
• New Trials will be added:  Trials are repeatable epic tasks that groups of heroes can undertake for a special reward.
• Tailors: Players will get the ability to change their costume with influence and "more". (Although they didn't hint toward what else, the ambiguous end to this announcement certainly entices you to expect something big!)
• New Mission Interactivity: This includes being thrown in jail after being defeated in a mission to who knows what else? Time will only tell!
